You have a deadline approaching. It could be something for a blog post, an article, or even a book. Unfortunately, you have the dreaded disease known as writer's block. You have a topic, but you don't know how to present it.
No need to be concerned. Writing does not have to be difficult. Writing is essentially just filling in the blanks with a template. Here are ten great methods for getting your writing done quickly and easily that can be applied to almost any topic.

1. How-To Guide
This is a classic “how-to” guide. It is laid out in a systematic, step-by-step manner for completing a task. The steps are typically organized in chronological order (i.e., Step One is…, Step Two is…, and so on). These are commonly referred to as “systems,” “formulas,” “checklists,” or “blueprints.”
2. Commonly Asked Questions
Another approach is what I refer to as “frequently asked questions.” In this model, you would answer 10-20 of the most frequently asked questions about a specific topic in your content. This is one of the simplest writings to create because the Q&A format makes outlining simple:

3. a job interview
Another way to write is to move from questions that you answer to questions that someone else answers. Unsurprisingly, a “interview” is a series of questions that you pose to one or more qualified experts in order to create your content. (Examples of reasons why experts would do this for you include free publicity for their website or business, ownership of the completed report, or payment.)
4. make a list
Another writing template is what I call a “list.” It is simply a list of methods, strategies, tips, secrets, tactics, techniques, habits, exercises, principles, and so on, each with a detailed description.
5. Case Study No
The “case study” model comes next. This would entail you profiling various successful examples of completing a common task. In other words, you would demonstrate how several different people (including or excluding yourself) achieved the desired result. The great thing about this writing style is the variety of methods people use to achieve similar results. Your readers will most likely “connect” with one or more of the examples and feel motivated and empowered to achieve their own goal. Bottom line: you've got a happy reader.
6. Directory of Resources
The “resource directory” comes next. This includes a collection of related resource entries (usually indexed categorically and then alphabetically), as well as contact information such as a web site, phone number, and/or mailing/physical address. Consider a campground directory or a list of hotels that cater to a specific niche.
7. Thought Prompters
The “idea generators” are up next. This template is best described as “a series of prompts to help the reader brainstorm ideas.”

8. The Initial Year
The following year is what I've dubbed “the first year.” In this template, you would walk a newcomer through the first 12 months of a specific endeavor. What beginner wouldn't want to know what to expect and how to successfully navigate the foundation period if they were on the verge of something completely new to them?
You could keep a calendar of milestones and guideposts, pitfalls to avoid, shortcuts to take, and so on for the first year. Here are some examples:
- Parenting in the First Year
- Homeschooling in the First Year
- College Freshman Year
- The First Year of Internet Commerce
- The First Year After the Death of a Loved One
- The First Year of Instruction
- Youth Ministry's First Year
- The First Year of Living with Multiple Sclerosis
9. Business in a Specific Field
Trying to create information products to sell to other Internet marketers is one of the most common mistakes that most “Internet marketers” make. It's a cycle that repeats itself indefinitely. Fortunately for you, while everyone else is competing, you have the opportunity to teach “niches” how to market. Rather than selling marketing knowledge to other marketers, teach niche business owners how to market. All business owners, regardless of their industry, require more customers.
Note: What's interesting about this “type” of small report is that you can make a few changes and “niche” it for a variety of different topics (for example, “Bookstore Owner's Guide to Marketing,” “Real Estate Agent's Guide to Marketing,” “Hair Salon Owner's Guide to Marketing,” and so on).

10. The Bridge
This type of writing has been dubbed “the bridge.” The plan is to combine two unrelated topics into a single brief report. Consider this: there are universal wants and needs (for example, to lose weight and get in shape) that apply to virtually all markets. Most people want to make more money, be more successful, live happier lives, have better relationships, and so on. These are universal interests. The goal here is to incorporate those universal pursuits into your specific field of interest or expertise.
Here are some examples:

- The Educator's Guide to Becoming a High-Paid Public Speaker Small Business Owner Success Secrets
- The Home-Guide Educator's to Working From Home
- Remember that writing is just like anything else. You don't have to get it perfect right away; just get started

How to Be Social as an Introvert: Since introverts can be hard to get to know, people sometimes get the impression that they are unsociable, but that's often not the case. For introverts to get along with other people, they need to strike a balance between getting out to be social, while also having time to themselves. One of the best ways to be social is to focus on listening while you're around other people. If you don't listen to what other people are saying, you can keep yourself from making new connections. Another tip for being social is to learn the best times to be social. Introverts often work better at night, but you can also get to know people during the day if it's more convenient for you. I'm Stuck: Ever found yourself in a creative rut? I sure have, and it's certainly not fun. When it comes to writing, it's hard to get inspired when you're just writing and rewriting your work and it seems to be getting nowhere. The secret to getting over this is to step away from your work and give your mind a break. You can do this by listening to music or giving your hands a workout. It's also important to look at your work objectively and give yourself a break. It's not the end of the world if your work isn't perfect and you're not a professional writer.
