Examples of Struggles in Life (The Ultimate Guide + Image Quotes)

As we breathe in and out of life, we encounter problems. But it doesn't hit us until we feel a significant impact, at which point it becomes a source of concern, hurt, or sorrow.
Life problems, depending on their magnitude, can be clogs in the wheel of progress, and we may not be able to reach our full potential if we do not learn to place our problems in the proper perspectives, as suggested by Robert Schuller in his book Tough Times Never Last.
In this article, I've identified some common areas where you're likely to run into issues as you work toward reaching your full life potential. I've also suggested practical approaches to dealing with, managing, and solving such issues.

But, before we get there, you might want to identify your current greatest challenge in life — which aspects of your life should you prioritize first? You can do so by taking the Life Assessment. It is a free assessment that will provide you with an overview of all aspects of your life and will assist you in better understanding your current challenges. Simply complete the assessment and then proceed to my solutions below.

1. The Economic Crisis

We live in an uncertain world, and a financial crisis can strike at any time. While you should always anticipate and prepare for a financial crisis, it may still catch you off guard or be far greater in magnitude than any preparation you have made over the years.
It could be that you lost your job or a significant investment, were hit with a lawsuit that jeopardized your savings, or had your livelihood disrupted by a major disaster. So, what should you do if you're in a financial bind?

To overcome a financial crisis, you must first accept the crisis. Recognize and accept the situation, and then begin your recovery by reorganizing your financial priorities.
The next step is to determine the source of the crisis. If it is due to a job loss, your efforts should be focused on finding a new job. If you have multiple debts, look into debt consolidation so that your monthly debt repayment can be consolidated into one payment rather than being burdened with multiple payments.
You can also sell some of your assets to raise funds to save the situation, or look for a better job if your current one pays less. If you require assistance, do not be afraid to seek assistance from family and friends.

2. Health Emergency

A health crisis is another major issue that could arise in your life. This is not implausible because our bodies work around the clock, even when we are sleeping. As a result, and if you do not maintain routine health habits, health deterioration may begin. If you don't take care of it right away, things could get serious.

When faced with a major health crisis, the first step is to consider lifestyle changes. This includes limiting junk foods, eating healthy diets, exercising, getting fresh air, getting some sun, and so on.
Aside from making lifestyle changes, you should seek quality medical care and get multiple opinions about the state of your health in order to get the best affordable care.

3. Relationships, Marriage, and Families

There is nothing sweeter than love and family life, but it can also be a source of pain for some. Human flaws in a relationship can lead to a major life crisis. This has proven to be a stumbling block for many people on their path to fulfillment.

The best thing to do is to prevent relationship problems from occurring, but if they do occur, you must face reality and begin to address them. Keep the lines of communication open as much as possible to help strengthen your troubled relationship. Discuss the difficulties with your partner and look for common ground.
You can also make plans to see a counselor together or read books about the specific issues you're dealing with. The worst thing you can do is end a relationship, and that is only if all other options have been exhausted.

4. The Workplace

The workplace is supposed to be a place where we do our best to provide the services for which we were hired.
However, facing animosity at work—dealing with toxic people who would rather not see any good in what you do—is not impossible. It could be due to differences in background, attitudes, or unhealthy competition, which can lead to personal conflicts. This can lead to undue stress and lower productivity.

When dealing with toxic people, maintain the highest level of professionalism possible. Try to avoid personal confrontation by being kind and understanding.
You can even try to contact the individuals and invite them over for coffee to learn more about their worldview. This can help you connect with them on their level, avoiding unnecessary stress for yourself.

5. Workplace Pressure

You will almost certainly face work-related pressure as you strive to achieve greater success. Such situations can arise when attempting to stabilize or advance in your career. It can also be caused by overwork and a lack of a social life. One of the most common life issues is career pressure.
It is possible that the promotion you have been working hard for will not come your way, or that positions you are qualified for will be offered to others. When you notice that the majority of your colleagues are moving ahead of you, the pressure increases.

Check to see if you have any personal or behavioral issues. Some behavioral issues can put you at a disadvantage. It could be a lack of communication skills, poor personal grooming, or a lack of relationship and networking skills. If you have any of these issues, work on improving yourself in those areas.
You can also observe your successful colleagues and note what they are doing differently.

6. Inequitable Treatment

We live in a world where some people believe they have some sort of advantage over others and may want to use this thinking to treat others unfairly. If you find yourself in an environment where you are oppressed or mistreated because of your race, gender, or current status, it can make you feel terrible and have a negative impact on your psyche and productivity.

There is a strong temptation to condemn your treatment, defend yourself, and demand a change right away, but you should instead wait for the right opportunity.
When the time is right, contact the person or authority in question directly and in private. In the meantime, you should be truthful about the instances of your unjust treatment. Don't just say you're being treated unfairly; provide several verifiable examples.
After you've politely expressed your displeasure, continue to be yourself. If nothing changes, you can isolate yourself in that environment. If you have the option to leave, you should do so.

7. Boredom and emptiness

When you're stuck in a rut, everything becomes routine, dull, and unproductive, and it's difficult to change. This can result in a sense of emptiness and boredom. This may not appear to be a serious life issue, but it can have a significant impact on your life.

Break out of your routines and deliberately create a new experience for yourself to overcome boredom and emptiness. If you are unable to leave your current job in order to find a new one, begin doing other things that reflect your true passion. Sometimes the things that give us the motivation we need in life aren't our day jobs.

8. Perplexity

Confusion is defined as a change in mental status in which a person is unable to think clearly as usual.
. It is a symptom of forgetfulness and a lack of concentration.
It can be caused by a variety of factors, including medical and environmental factors. It could also be the result of a loss, heartbreak, or abuse.

Allowing the situation to deteriorate into something more serious is not an option. Try to break free from whatever experiences are causing you to be perplexed. Seek medical attention if necessary, or consult a psychologist.

9. Friendship Issues

We need friends in our lives to share thoughts, hang out with, and even help us when we get into trouble. However, many people have gotten themselves into serious trouble as a result of the friends they keep. They've witnessed betrayal, backstabbing, and betrayal of trust. Some friends have even betrayed trust by using information freely provided during times of friendship.

Don't tell your friends everything. Keep some information to yourself only. If you suspect a friend is conspiring against you, confront them with the truth. Limit your interactions with them or completely avoid such toxic friends.

10. The Haunting Past

We all have histories, and we may have done some crazy things before learning to live a more civilized and decent life. But, every now and then, the past returns to haunt us. It's even worse when past life problems come back to haunt you and become problems in the present.
It's possible that what you've done is now bothering you and keeping you awake at night. Or someone who knows about it is attempting to use it against you, impeding your progress.

Be honest with yourself and forgive yourself. If the problem is with another person, you can try to resolve it with them. If a secret has been revealed, own up to it, accept responsibility, and move on.

11. Security and safety

You may find yourself in a situation where there has been unexplained murder, gun violence, police brutality, insurgencies, and other potentially lethal situations. This can make you feel as if you are the next victim. In this situation, what should you do?

Keep an eye on where you go and keep your home secure. You can also join a neighborhood community watch to work together to find solutions to the threat. If the situation persists, you may wish to relocate to a more secure location.

12. Failing

Failure can lead to disappointment as well as a slowing of progress. However, failure is a part of life, and we must learn to deal with it. But what do you do when a failure experience weighs you down?

You can be inspired by other people's success stories by reading a book or biographies.

13. Bereavement

Nobody enjoys grieving, but we can't completely avoid it. The loss of a loved one is heartbreaking and, if not handled properly, can lead to an emotional breakdown.

Take your time expressing your emotions. You can also write an emotional tribute to the person. Writing can help us express feelings that we might not be able to express otherwise, and it can also help us breathe a sigh of relief.
You can also cope with your grief by assisting them in realizing some of their unrealized dreams or by doing something in their honor. Finally, even as you mourn your loss, you must move on, accepting the fact that life is fleeting.

Final Thoughts

Problems are what make life worthwhile to live. They assist us in becoming tougher as we adapt to various situations. Remember that whatever problem you are facing has a solution or, at the very least, a manageable solution.

As a result, never let your difficulties prevent you from reaching your full potential in life.
