How to Be a Man in a Relationship (The Ultimate Guide + Image Quotes)

Some women believe that a “Real Man” does not exist and is impossible to find. Other women are not interested in someone like him. On the other hand, some men believe they are the epitome of a “Real Man.” Other men believe there isn't such a thing. But one thing is certain: both men who believe they are the epitome of a “Real Man” and those who believe they are not are frequently mistaken.

Watch your actions to see if you are a real man or if you are in a relationship with a real man. You can't help but notice the difference between a real man and the selfish frat boy types you see everywhere. He's a gentleman, and he's useful for more than just the first few months. Importantly, a real man does things so well in a relationship that you can't help but admire him and his style.

1. A true man admires and respects his wife for who she is

He may not always love her, but he loves her. Not just her body, her possessions, or her social standing, but all of her! He is aware that physical beauty fades, no matter how beautiful her body is now. As a result, he focuses his love and attention on her true beauty, which is revealed through her sensibilities and personality. He treats her with dignity and respect, as if she were a lady. He doesn't mind preparing her favorite meal, taking her out to wine and dine, or paying her bills. He also expects her to love and respect him.

2. A true man fully commits to the relationship

He does not defraud. He is devoted to his partner and understands that it takes effort to keep a relationship strong and healthy. His love for his wife is a full-time commitment. He feeds and strengthens the relationship by maintaining open and honest communication and teamwork. When you're with a real man, you know you can put your trust in him. He will remain faithful regardless of the circumstances, and he expects you to do the same.

3. A true man defends his partner both physically and emotionally

Not that a woman can't protect and defend herself, but he is always there for her. He protects her in a variety of ways, including financial security, comforting her, and assuring her that everything will be fine. If necessary, he is willing to throw a good punch to protect her from physical aggressors. He does, however, think before acting. He never moves until he is certain that all details and specifics are in order. His movements are deliberate, calculated, and assured. When you're with him, abuse of any kind is never an issue. He is considerate and treats everyone with respect.

4. A true man mentally and sexually fulfills his partner

He understands that the majority of time spent in any relationship is spent doing nonphysical, nonsexual activities. Aside from telling her how beautiful she is or promising to make hot, passionate love to her when he gets home in the evening, he also engages her in meaningful conversations about life, makes future plans with her, and cracks jokes to lighten and liven moments together. He demonstrates awareness, intelligence, and sensitivity, resulting in actions that are not only timely, but also genuinely charming.

5. A true man takes the initiative and leads

That's because he's the one who wears the pants in the relationship. Of course, his wife chooses the pants, but he is still the boss. He takes a bold step forward and addresses issues in the relationship. He doesn't rely on the woman to solve his problems. If he is unsure how to handle a problem, he seeks assistance or advice. Some men play it safe and avoid taking the initiative because they don't want to be criticized, but this is not the case with a true man. A true man says, “I'll handle it,” and takes the initiative to solve the problem in his own unique way.

6. A true man takes the initiative and makes the difficult decisions

He understands that real men are decisive, so he makes decisions in the relationship. He does not delegate all of his decisions to his partner. When making decisions, he seeks to understand her perspectives (as well as those of other concerned parties) and is adaptable enough to incorporate those perspectives into his decisions. He does not want to control people, but rather to help them. You are probably self-conscious and afraid of making mistakes if you are hesitant to make decisions. Women dislike men who are indecisive and cowardly.

7. A true man accepts accountability for his actions and decisions

He never shifts blame (especially not to his partner) or tries to justify his mistakes. He simply admits when he makes a mistake, apologizes, learns from it, and works to make it right. To him, saying “I'm sorry” isn't a big deal. He knows saying it doesn't make him any less of a man. In fact, apologizing makes him a better man because it shows he has the confidence, courage, and integrity to admit his flaws and seek to correct them.

8. A true man always speaks his mind

He isn't afraid to say what's on his mind. When he does not agree with something, he will say no without fear. He will debate you on topics with which he is uncomfortable without losing his cool. He will be straightforward and treat you as an equal before allowing you to reach your own conclusions or take whatever action you desire. This does not imply that he is uninterested in women or treats them poorly. He just doesn't always agree with her. He understands that a “Yes-man” is not a man at all.

9. A true man defends the relationship

Friends, family, and even complete strangers may ask inappropriate questions or make inappropriate comments about your relationship, such as saying you are not a “good couple.” In such cases, a true man defends himself and the legitimacy and integrity of his relationship. Even when he is surrounded by his peers, he speaks up and defends his relationship. This demonstrates his ability to express himself in public, protect his woman, and act like a mature man.

10. A real man has other interests that are unrelated to his partner

He has more than enough going on in his life to keep him occupied. That means he is passionate about something other than his relationship. He is not defined by his relationship. He will respect your space, and you must respect his. He is a self-assured, ambitious go-getter. He's a true gentleman!
