This is completely false. Failing at one thing does not imply that your entire life has been a colossal failure. In life, the only true failure is when you stop trying.

Failure is a necessary step toward success.

Success does not build itself. Success, on the other hand, is built on failures. The more you learn about what doesn't work, the closer you will be to determining what does.

In effect, making a mistake makes you smarter and wiser. According to research, experiencing failure leads to richer mental models than experiencing success.
The world's most successful people have all failed spectacularly. In reality, they fail far more often than they succeed.

Getting to the truth is the only way to change what isn't working in your life. This can be excruciatingly painful for many people. It necessitates that you abandon your excuses. Nobody wants to face their mess, but it is necessary if you want to advance in life.

I am a firm believer that the truth will always set you free, even if it is unsettling.

When you understand why you keep failing, you will be able to do something different. This is the time to start transforming your failure into a powerful plan of action.

1. You Aren't Taking Charge of Your Life

If you want to solve a problem in your life, you must be willing to accept responsibility for it. Yes, life can be unfair at times. I understand how easy it is to blame others or the world for your problems. That mindset, however, will not get you anywhere.

You can't be the mastermind of your life and the CEO of your mind if you're constantly deflecting blame. This is the quickest way to lose power. If you do not accept responsibility for what happens to you, you will continue to fail in life.

Drop the excuses and take responsibility for every action you take and thought you have. If you can do that, I guarantee you will begin to thrive.

The ability to silence the negative, unhelpful voice in your head is part of the power of accepting responsibility for your actions. This gives you more mental space to think empowering thoughts about success rather than disempowering thoughts about failure.

2. You don't have enough faith in yourself

Everything in life is built on belief. The most incredible accomplishments would never have occurred if people did not believe they were possible.

If you don't believe in yourself, you'll sabotage your efforts and keep falling short. The act of failing will confirm your limiting belief that you are a failure who is unworthy of success, and the destructive cycle will continue.

This is why it is critical that you become an active observer of your thoughts and begin to identify the core beliefs that are holding you back.

Our core beliefs reflect our fundamental perspective on the world, other people, and ourselves. Some examples of limiting beliefs are “I'm a failure,” “I'm not enough,” and “I don't deserve success”.
Every thought you have should be questioned. When you become aware that you are separate from the voice inside your head, your negative thoughts will weaken and your self-belief will strengthen.

3. You give up too easily

Nothing worthwhile in life comes easily. Every day, people around the world accomplish the seemingly impossible. Have you ever considered why this occurs? Simple. These individuals do not give up.
They persevere even when the odds are stacked against them. You've adopted a dabbler mentality if you give up the moment you face a challenge. The dabbler is always a failure.
This is someone who never completes what they begin. They jump from one thing to the next in the hopes of making things easier. Not surprisingly, they are confronted with the same reality.

The master, on the other hand, is someone who commits to everything. If this person is unable to find a solution, he or she invents one. These people see every setback as an opportunity to learn and grow.
You'll fail. That is a given. All that matters is how you react when this happens. The next time you feel like giving up, remember why you started in the first place.
