Yes, you can claim to be a good spouse. People will believe you when they see the picture-perfect image on your office wall, but it doesn't really matter if you go home to a different story.
In the end, the most important opinion is the one we have about ourselves. A lie will drain you, overwhelm you, and bring up unresolved emotions.
Perhaps you chose a particular path many years ago and are now feeling stuck. You don't recognize yourself when you look in the mirror. The week seems to go on forever, and it's only 7 a.m. on a Monday.

So that's the end of it. It's a good idea to get to know the person you wake up to every day and look at while brushing your teeth. The person in the mirror who appears to be the same but seems to change over time. Here's the million-dollar question: where do you even begin?
Regrettably, there is no quick answer (or solution) to this. It's not math. There is no such thing as right or wrong. You can't ace the test by finding a page with all the secret answers.
Most people will gain a better understanding of who they are over time simply by reflecting on their previous actions, reactions, and decisions. You can, however, choose to be an active participant in the process right now.

1. Develop Your Self-Awareness
Now it's all about you. Allow the outside world to exist independently. It's not about your neighbor or the high school friend who posted yet another sunny photo from Dubai. It has nothing to do with them.
Take some time to look in the mirror. So, what have you been up to? How do you react in different situations? What makes you happy?
And if you find yourself comparing yourself to a specific person, consider why you are so fixated on them. Figure out who you are. You're someone who deserves to be known.

It may appear obvious, but for some reason, you continue to avoid that one thing.
Many people let fear get in their way, even though they know deep down that they are capable of facing it. Of course, this is easy to say, but overcoming your weakness will change you for the better. You'll learn a lot from it, and you'll know a lot more about your character as a result.
3. Concentrate on Your Strengths
It's always a good idea to focus on and nurture your strengths. It will not only help you become more successful, but it will also help you gain a better understanding of yourself, as our strengths are an important part of who we are.
Even if you've been running towards the wall for a while and your head is starting to hurt, you'll always have some strengths to fall back on. Return to them and see where they will take you. Perhaps a talent will blossom into a career. Perhaps a personality trait will lead to a new path or relationship.
