We've all had days when we felt weighed down by a nagging headache. These headaches can be so inconvenient that even the most mundane and simple tasks can seem daunting and impossible. Stress, tension, restlessness, sinus problems, migraines, a lack of sleep, and dehydration are all common causes of headaches. Medical treatment is sometimes required, but on other occasions, alternative remedies can be extremely beneficial. Natural home remedies can provide you with immediate pain relief, allowing you to face the rest of your day with purpose. Here are 12 natural headache remedies that will help you get rid of it.

Dehydration is a common cause of headaches. Simply rehydrating your body can alleviate this type of headache. When you first notice the symptoms of a headache, drink a glass of water and sip it throughout the day. You could also try drinking sports drinks. Wrap some ice cubes in a thin towel to make an ice pack. You can also use a frozen vegetable bag, but never put ice directly on your skin. For a few minutes, press the ice against your head.

A heat pack will help relax tense muscles, so if you have a stress headache, a heat pack is a great solution. You can apply a hot water bag to the back of your neck or soak your hands in a tub of hot water for 10-15 minutes.
