Consider in the Morning

When we look at the great thinkers and achievers in our field, we can't help but think, “Wow! They must have a lot of willpower to work all the time!” But this is simply not the case. The great leaders, on the other hand, have learned how to manage their will power.

Every one of us (even geniuses) wakes up with a certain amount of willpower. You can think of your willpower as a battery. Every decision you make, no matter how minor, depletes a portion of your battery. Have you ever wondered why Steve Jobs wore nothing but black t-shirts? So he removed that decision from his daily routine so he could direct his willpower elsewhere.

Creating, thinking, and planning are all activities that necessitate repeated decisions. They deplete our willpower battery. That is why they should all be completed in the morning, while you still have the ability to do so.

Acting at Noon

If you do all of your thinking and planning in the morning, you will be able to do all of your “acting” in the afternoon. This time should be set aside for routine and habitual actions that you know you'll do one way or another.

Is your inbox overflowing? You know you're going to read those emails today regardless. At this point, it's just a habit! So you might as well save it for the afternoon, when your energy levels are low and your willpower is dwindling.

Instead of focusing on the big picture, the afternoon is the best time to “manage” your tasks. Working on systems that are already in place does not require all of the willpower you used in the morning. You've also already planned your day (in the morning). Those decisions have already been made, so all you have to do is carry them out.

Dinner in the Evening

Many people believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Many of these people, according to experts, are mistaken. Dinner is, in fact, the most important meal of the day. You obviously need to eat something before dinner. You need to fuel your body throughout the day, but dinner may be more important than any other meal.

First and foremost, eating dinner is a necessary part of being a happy human. Social relationships are extremely important, and much of our socializing revolves around dinner. Not only that, but families who regularly eat dinner together have happier, healthier, and safer children. So, we know that eating dinner is important for our happiness, but is it also important for our health?

Absolutely.

It aids sleep, according to Mental Healthy. We require consistent supplies of glucose throughout the night for body functions in order to sleep properly. If we do not eat healthy foods, our bodies are forced to use glucose reserve systems, which can cause us to wake up and have difficulty falling asleep again. At Night, Sleep

Sleep is essential because our bodies perform critical functions of recovery while we sleep. We've all experienced the feeling of waking up refreshed and ready to face the day. We've all experienced waking up groggy because we didn't get enough sleep. This is due to the fact that our bodies only perform regenerative functions while we sleep.

Sleep is specifically used by the body to:

  • Repair harmed cells
  • Boost your immune system
  • Recover from the day's events
  • Recharge your heart and circulatory system

Most importantly for your daily routine, sleep replenishes your decision-making capacity (also known as willpower). A good night's sleep can mean the difference between great work and poor productivity the following day.
