Getting enough rest on the weekends is one of the things that can get you excited to go to work on a Monday. A good night's sleep is essential, especially on the weekend. To give you a boost of energy on Monday, you must get at least 9 hours of sleep on Sunday. This makes a significant difference, especially when waking up. You'll be well rested and ready to go on Monday.

2. Plan your schedule ahead of time

On a Monday, many of us have no idea what to do. In fact, many people simply figure out what they're going to do for the rest of the week once the nine-to-five workday begins on that day. One sure way to boost our motivation to work on Mondays is to plan out the entire workweek over the weekend.

What motivates you to work on a Monday? It simply reminds you that there is work to be done and that you must get up.

3. Determine the sources of your dissatisfaction with your job
